Forecast models from sources including the Global Forecast System indicate a minimum temperature in Shanghai on September 11 most likely between 22–24°C under mostly cloudy skies with light northeast winds and a modest chance of showers. This range aligns with the market’s leading outcomes at 23°C (41%), 24°C (24%), and 22°C (23.5%), reflecting trader consensus on typical early-autumn cooling in the region’s humid subtropical climate, where overnight radiative losses are moderated by high humidity and cloud cover. Recent model runs show stable steering patterns without strong cold-air intrusions, though minor forecast revisions could shift the exact low within this narrow band before resolution.

This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
