Recent forecast runs from global and regional models, including GFS guidance, point to a minimum near 18 °C in Busan on September 10 under stable high pressure and persistent northeasterly flow that limits overnight radiative cooling. Observed early-morning readings and ensemble consensus align with this range, consistent with typical early-September climatology for the region. The market-implied 97.5 % probability on 18 °C reflects traders’ assessment of these data and limited upside or downside risk. A sudden increase in cloud cover or a shift in wind direction could allow slightly more cooling and push the official minimum to 17 °C, though current conditions make that outcome unlikely before resolution.
