Forecasts from Singapore's Meteorological Service and international models point to a daily maximum near 31–32°C on September 11, aligning with the September climatological average of 31.6°C at Changi. Persistent southeasterly flow and afternoon thundery showers typical of the late Southwest Monsoon period are expected to limit peak heating, while transboundary smoke haze from Sumatran and Kalimantan fires has reduced insolation in recent days, exerting a modest cooling influence. Official observations show recent maxima in the 30–32°C range with no significant warm anomalies, keeping 31°C and 32°C as the dominant market-implied outcomes ahead of the daily resolution from the national climate station.
