Recent polling trends positioned the Grüne for a seat total in the mid-20s, reflecting their stable support around 15-16 percent in surveys conducted in the weeks before the September 20, 2026, Berlin state election. This range aligned with the party's performance in urban districts and its established voter base, while the overall fragmentation among other parties limited prospects for larger swings. Traders viewed the 25-29 outcome as the most probable based on consistent projections from multiple institutes and the absence of major late-campaign disruptions. Factors that could still alter the final allocation include adjustments from overhang and leveling seats under Berlin's electoral rules, variations in turnout among key demographics, or delays in confirming the exact chamber size.
