Official temperature observations from Seattle-area stations on September 13, 2026, recorded a daily maximum of 60-61°F amid persistent cloud cover, showers, and southerly flow associated with an upper-level disturbance. This outcome aligns with real-time surface data and model guidance showing limited daytime warming under overcast skies, well below the late-summer climatological average near 71°F. Market-implied odds reflect near-certain trader confidence in the finalized NOAA or NWS local climatological summary, with minimal dispersion across alternative bins. Only an unusual post-event data revision or station-specific discrepancy could shift the result, though such adjustments are rare once preliminary values are confirmed.
