Recent polls for the September 20 Berlin state election show the AfD consistently ahead of the SPD by 4–7 points, with the AfD at 17–19% and the SPD at 11–15% across surveys from Infratest dimap, INSA, Civey, and Forsa. The SPD’s position has been further pressured by a September 9 search warrant execution against its lead candidate Steffen Krach and subsequent party crisis talks. The AfD has maintained stable support amid broader national trends and gains in the recent Saxony-Anhalt vote, while the SPD trails multiple other parties in Berlin. With the election ten days away and no major late shifts indicated, trader consensus reflects these sustained polling gaps and limited remaining campaign time.
