This market will resolve to “Yes” if it is announced that that the listed individual will leave the Trump Administration, or otherwise ceases to be a member of administration by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of the listed individual's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The Trump administration includes individuals formally appointed by Donald Trump to roles within the U.S. federal government, such as Cabinet members, Executive Office staff, senior policy advisors, ambassadors, or White House staff whose appointments are publicly announced by official government channels. The primary resolution source will be official information from the Trump administration, however a consensus of credible reopening may also be used.High-profile departures have marked President Trump's second term, with three Cabinet secretaries—Kristi Noem at Homeland Security, Pam Bondi as Attorney General, and Lori Chavez-DeRemer at Labor—exiting between March and April 2026 amid firings over controversies, inspector general probes, and policy frictions, followed by Tulsi Gabbard's June resignation as Director of National Intelligence for personal reasons and Karoline Leavitt's planned August exit as White House press secretary. Partnership for Public Service data shows 27 Senate-confirmed officials in Cabinet departments have left in the first 18 months, exceeding rates from prior administrations, alongside broader turnover among non-confirmed appointees across agencies. Trader focus on figures such as Pete Hegseth and Kash Patel reflects ongoing risks from investigations, implementation challenges, and potential post-2026 midterm adjustments, though replacements have maintained policy continuity to date. The November 2026 elections and any resulting Senate dynamics could influence further changes before the 2027 deadline.
