Incumbent Marie Gluesenkamp Perez holds a commanding position in the WA-03 House race due to her established record as a centrist Blue Dog Democrat who has twice carried the swing district, combined with superior fundraising and institutional support that have translated into stronger name recognition and voter outreach capacity ahead of the November general election. The August top-two primary confirmed her and state Senate Minority Leader John Braun as the nominees, with both clearing roughly 39 percent amid a crowded field. Recent outside spending has accelerated, including significant Republican-aligned efforts opposing Perez, yet trader consensus appears anchored in her incumbency edge and the district's mixed voting patterns. Scenarios that could narrow her lead include strong turnout mobilization for Braun tied to national Republican messaging, the impact of their scheduled October debate, or shifts in voter sentiment driven by late-cycle polling trends or economic conditions.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
