Recent National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance indicate sunny conditions with highs near 95–97°F for Houston on September 23, driven by persistent high pressure, light northeast winds, and minimal cloud cover that favor strong daytime heating. These align with the market’s leading 94–95°F (51.5%) and 96–97°F (22%) bins, reflecting trader consensus on typical late-September Gulf Coast warmth before seasonal cooling. Heat indices above 105°F underscore the role of high dew points, though dry air advection could slightly temper maxima. Stable guidance through the next 48 hours leaves limited scope for major revisions unless unexpected moisture or wind shifts develop.
