**National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 21 point to a high near 92°F under mostly sunny skies, with only a 20% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms after 3 p.m. and heat indices near 97°F.** This consensus from Peachtree City office data, consistent across multiple model runs, underpins trader emphasis on the 90–93°F range as the most probable outcome. Recent observations show the region running 6–8°F above normal for mid-September, sustaining elevated readings before a pattern shift brings showers and cooler air midweek. Afternoon convection remains the key uncertainty that could trim the daily maximum, while calm steering winds and high humidity support the current warm bias reflected in market-implied odds.
