Incumbent George Harvie of Achieving For Delta holds a modest lead in trader consensus for the October 17, 2026 mayoral contest, reflecting his established record and full slate of council and school board candidates. Dylan Kruger of One Delta has narrowed the gap by emphasizing affordability measures such as no new taxes or fees, infrastructure priorities, and a return to core services, while recent platform releases from both slates and Melissa Granum’s Delta First group highlight competing visions on public safety, accountable spending, health care access, and growth management. With nominations closing soon and general voting weeks away, further candidate announcements, local forums, or shifts in voter turnout among key communities could widen or close the margin between the top two contenders.
