**Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to a high near 68–70°F in Denver on September 24 amid an incoming disturbance that is expected to deliver cloud cover and showers, particularly in the morning and afternoon.** This system follows warmer, mostly dry conditions earlier in the week, with official guidance highlighting a 50–70% chance of measurable precipitation that typically limits daytime warming through reduced insolation and evaporative cooling. Model runs show limited spread on the peak temperature once clouds and rain develop, though the exact maximum will hinge on the timing of any breaks in the overcast and the intensity of showers. Historical September averages for Denver sit around 75–78°F, making the current cooler trajectory a notable deviation driven by this synoptic pattern. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon model runs remain the key near-term catalysts for any shifts in market-implied probabilities.
