Incumbent George Harvie of Achieving for Delta holds a modest lead in trader pricing ahead of the October 17 municipal election, supported by his established party organization and recent platform emphasis on Metro Vancouver governance reforms, including potential withdrawal from select regional programs while retaining core utilities. Dylan Kruger of One Delta follows closely, drawing on council experience and pledges for no new taxes or fees amid affordability pressures, while Melissa Granum of Delta First trails further with a platform centered on accountability, public safety, and health-care access. A council split in late 2025 created the main challenger slate, and nominations closed September 11 with the official campaign underway since September 19. The narrow gap between leading contenders reflects competing visions on regional oversight, spending restraint, and local priorities, with limited polling available to separate their support among Delta voters.
