Aaron Ford holds an overwhelming 87.5% implied probability of winning Clark County in the November 2026 Nevada gubernatorial election, while incumbent Joe Lombardo sits at 6%. This positioning stems from Clark County's status as Nevada's most populous and reliably Democratic-leaning jurisdiction, anchored by Las Vegas. Ford secured the Democratic nomination in June with strong primary performance there, building on his established statewide profile as attorney general. Lombardo, despite his prior role as Clark County sheriff and recent Republican primary victory, faces structural headwinds in the county amid a broader race rated as competitive or lean Republican statewide by multiple forecasters. Recent July polling shows the overall contest within a few points, underscoring how county-level partisan patterns drive the localized market pricing.
