This matches the long-term September 11 average high of approximately 16.2°C from 1991–2020 climatology, with no notable heat advection or blocking patterns altering the typical autumnal regime. Minor station-to-station variations or final data revisions could theoretically shift the verified high, but multiple independent sources converge on 17°C without evidence of higher readings.
