**Trader consensus at 100% on 31°C reflects consistent meteorological forecasts for Beijing on September 17, 2026, projecting a daily maximum near that threshold under mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies, light southerly winds, and low precipitation risk.** Official guidance and ensemble models show highs of 30–31.8°C (roughly 86–89°F), well above the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 26°C but below the all-time September 17 record of 32.4°C. Current surface observations and afternoon readings approaching or reaching 31°C reinforce this positioning, with minimal model spread on intensification factors such as insolation or boundary-layer mixing. Realistic deviations would require late-day convective development, thicker cloud cover, or a sharper shift in steering flow—developments that monitoring agencies have not indicated in the latest updates.
