The race for second place in Acre’s October 4 Senate election remains tightly contested because multiple candidates draw comparable support in a state where voters select two senators. Recent surveys from Quaest, Real Time Big Data, and others show Gladson Cameli (PP), Márcio Bittar (PL), Mara Rocha (Republicanos), and Jorge Viana (PT) clustered within margins of error, with consolidated shares often in the low-to-mid teens to low twenties. Cameli’s candidacy faces ongoing electoral court review tied to prior convictions and Ficha Limpa rules, creating uncertainty that traders appear to discount. Name recognition, established party coalitions, and regional voting patterns sustain the balance, while the official campaign period and any late shifts in alliances or turnout among key blocs could reorder the ranking before ballots close.
