**Flavio Bolsonaro leads trader odds for first place in Tocantins at 60.5% because recent state-level polling shows him competitive or narrowly ahead of Lula in the first-round vote there.** Surveys from Veritá (September 7–12) and Real Time Big Data (September 10–14) placed the PL candidate at 38–45% against Lula’s 37–40% among valid votes, within margins of error, with smaller shares for Ronaldo Caiado, Augusto Cury, and others. Tocantins has shown consistent right-leaning support in presidential contests, reinforced by Jair Bolsonaro’s endorsement of his son and the absence of strong local challengers. The October 4 first-round date leaves limited time for major shifts, though any late national momentum or turnout changes in key municipalities could still alter the outcome. Lower probabilities for Lula (35%) and fringe candidates reflect these patterns in the wisdom-of-crowds pricing.
