Recent Swedish opinion polls ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election show the Social Democrats maintaining a clear lead near 27-29 percent, followed by the Sweden Democrats near 19 percent, with the Moderate Party consistently placed third around 16-18 percent. This positioning stems from the Social Democrats' enduring base as the largest party and the Sweden Democrats' sustained second-place standing since 2022, while the Moderates have seen modest declines amid bloc-level tightening between the centre-left opposition and the right-wing government alliance. Late-campaign surveys indicate the Liberals clearing the 4 percent threshold, yet this has not altered the top-three ordering in aggregates. Trader consensus on the Moderate Party for third place aligns with these stable individual-party trends across multiple pollsters, with limited scope for shifts in the final days absent major surprises.
