In the early stages of the 2027 Querétaro gubernatorial race, trader consensus reflects a competitive field where PAN-aligned figures hold the edge in recent polling amid an open internal nomination process. June 2026 surveys from Mitofsky and others showed the PAN leading Morena by roughly six points in party preference, with Felifer Macías and Luis Bernardo Nava Guerrero topping PAN internal matchups while Santiago Nieto Castillo leads Morena contenders. September developments, including Governor Mauricio Kuri’s polygraph test under an anti-narcotics candidate protocol and calls for integrity filters by Nieto and others, underscore ongoing emphasis on candidate vetting that could influence party selections. With no nominations finalized and undecided voters exceeding 20% in some measures, these factors sustain tight positioning among leading names without decisive separation.
