Sampson and Yu hold the tightest implied probabilities among traders, reflecting their comparable records on council, established local profiles, and overlapping platforms centered on economic growth for the resource sector, public safety, and municipal service delivery. Frizzell trails on experience and name recognition but draws from a long tenure, while lower-polling entrants such as Roy Stewart add further fragmentation. Recent campaign launches in August have not yet produced decisive separation, leaving the outcome sensitive to upcoming candidate events, voter turnout patterns in key neighborhoods, and any shifts in local issue emphasis over the final campaign period.
