Recent Met Office and BBC forecasts indicate London highs of 23–25°C on September 22 under sunny intervals and light winds, supported by stable high pressure favoring clear skies and above-normal September warmth. Model consensus points to peak afternoon temperatures near 24°C, consistent with the market’s leading 40.5% implied probability, as light southerly flow and minimal cloud cover allow efficient surface heating while historical September averages near 19°C. Minor model spread around cloud timing or wind shifts creates the tight clustering on 23–25°C outcomes, with traders weighting official agency guidance and recent warm-spell persistence ahead of final observational data.
