Trader consensus favoring 66–69°F for Seattle’s September 22 high reflects the latest National Weather Service and NOAA model consensus of mostly cloudy conditions under persistent onshore flow and a weakening ridge giving way to an upper-level trough. This setup caps daytime heating near or slightly below the 68.6°F climatological average, with morning low clouds and light southwesterly winds limiting insolation. Minor model spreads arise from variable afternoon clearing potential, supporting the narrow edge for the 68–69°F bin over cooler outcomes. Upcoming evening forecast updates and morning surface observations will clarify whether temperatures reach the upper end of the range before resolution.
