This market will resolve to "Yes" if Taylor Swift releases a re-recorded version of her debut album "Taylor Swift" by December 31, 2026, 11:59PM PT (Los Angeles time). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Officially released means that a newly released album is officially available for download or streaming (not including live events) by the resolution date. A qualifying album must either have some form of the designation "Taylor's Version" in the title or be acknowledged by Taylor Swift as a re-recording of the relevant album. "Taylor's Version" re-recordings of albums other than the album titled "Taylor Swift" will not qualify this market towards a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be any official streaming or download site, e.g. Apple Music or Spotify.Taylor Swift’s ownership of her original masters, secured in a May 2025 purchase from Shamrock Capital, has removed the commercial imperative behind completing the re-recording project. She confirmed the debut album was fully re-recorded yet framed any future release as an optional “celebration” rather than a necessity, with no formal 2026 plans announced. Recent focus on new material, including the 2025 album *The Life of a Showgirl* and soundtrack contributions, further signals shifting priorities. While the October 24, 2026, twentieth anniversary offers a logical window and fan speculation persists around vault tracks or a surprise drop, the absence of precursor signals or official confirmation keeps trader consensus tilted modestly toward “No.”
