Official observations from the National Weather Service and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport recorded a daily maximum of 66–67°F on September 12, 2026, aligning with trader consensus at near-certainty. This outcome reflected cooler-than-average conditions driven by persistent marine-layer cloud cover and onshore flow typical of the Pacific Northwest in mid-September, suppressing daytime heating below the 71°F climatological normal. Model guidance and surface analyses showed no significant warming episodes or clear-sky intervals that could have pushed readings higher. Minor station-to-station differences or localized urban effects remain possible but fall well within the resolved bin; post-event verification from NOAA datasets has reinforced the market-implied result without credible challenge.
