Lula holds a decisive lead in Amazonas first-round polling, with recent surveys from DMP, Real Time, and Quaest placing him at 38–46% against Flavio Bolsonaro’s 35–39% and all other candidates in single digits. Traders price this outcome at 71.5% implied probability, reflecting the president’s incumbency advantages, expanded Bolsa Familia payments, and an offshore oil discovery that bolsters his development credentials in the state. Bolsonaro’s campaign has been hampered by a financing scandal and lower regional support outside Manaus, while the broader right-wing field remains fragmented. The October 4 vote occurs amid a nationally close contest and ongoing Supreme Court tensions that have not yet shifted Amazonas-specific sentiment.
