The Acre Senate race for two seats on October 4 remains tightly contested among a fragmented field of eight registered candidates, each drawing on established name recognition, prior executive or legislative experience, and shifting party coalitions. Recent Quaest and Atlas/Intel surveys through late August show technical ties or narrow leads among Gladson Cameli (PP), Márcio Bittar (PL), Mara Rocha (Republicanos), and Jorge Viana (PT), with consolidated support often within margins of error and many voters still undecided or splitting preferences. Cameli’s resignation as governor and ongoing legal appeals over prior convictions have introduced uncertainty that traders appear to price into lower implied probabilities for first place. Bittar benefits from incumbency and coalition backing, while Rocha and Viana gain traction in head-to-head scenarios. No single contender has consolidated a durable edge, leaving room for late campaign developments or turnout shifts to reorder the ranking ahead of the vote.
