Mat Siscoe, the incumbent mayor first elected in 2022 with nearly 69 percent of the vote, holds a commanding lead in the October 26, 2026, St. Catharines mayoral race according to trader consensus. His established record on municipal finance, transit, and regional housing, combined with limited opposition from challengers including Anthony A. Adeoye, Ann-Marie Zammit, Jimmy Jackson, and Henry Bosch, has reinforced this position. Recent actions, such as directing flood resilience reviews after major summer rainfall events, have kept him visible on core local priorities without evident shifts in the field. Scenarios that could alter outcomes include late campaign developments, unexpected turnout changes, or new candidate momentum, though no such factors have emerged in the current cycle.
