Official National Weather Service observations for Denver on September 9, 2026, recorded a minimum temperature of 55°F, placing the daily low squarely in the 56-57°F range that commands 95% market-implied probability. This outcome aligns with near-normal early September conditions, featuring light winds, clear skies, and no significant cold-air advection or cloud cover to suppress overnight radiational cooling below seasonal averages around 53°F. Model consensus and surface analyses showed typical high-plains nocturnal temperature drops without unusual moisture or frontal influences that could have driven further cooling. The strong trader consensus reflects this verified data point, though final resolution could shift if the designated reporting station or rounding methodology differs slightly from preliminary readings.
