Incumbent Republican Glenn Grothman holds a commanding position in Wisconsin's 6th Congressional District, a seat rated Solid or Safe Republican by major forecasters and featuring an R+8 partisan voter index. Grothman secured the GOP nomination without opposition in the August primary after multiple reelections, including a 61% share in 2024, while Democrat Brad Smith narrowly won his party's contest. May polling showed Grothman ahead of Smith by 22 points, consistent with the district's east-central Wisconsin base encompassing Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, and Sheboygan. Independent and third-party candidates appear on the November 3 general ballot but have not altered the structural advantage. Trader consensus reflects the limited path for an upset absent major late-cycle shifts in turnout or national conditions.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
