Persistent southerly and southeasterly winds under a strong upper-level ridge have maintained above-normal temperatures across North Texas, with recent overnight lows in Dallas running in the upper 70s to low 80s amid heat indices exceeding 105°F. Official National Weather Service forecasts for September 10 project a low near 80–82°F under partly cloudy skies and a modest storm chance that is unlikely to produce significant cooling. This pattern aligns closely with the market’s leading outcomes at 80–81°F and 82–83°F, as traders incorporate the absence of any advancing cold front or stronger mixing that could drop readings into the mid-70s. Model consensus remains tight, though minor variations in dew points or evening convection introduce limited uncertainty around the exact minimum.
