Official National Weather Service observations at Miami International Airport recorded a maximum temperature of 90°F on September 9, 2026, reached at 2:55 PM EDT. This outcome aligns with the climatological normal high of 89–90°F for early September and recent daily maxima in the 89–92°F range amid persistent tropical moisture and onshore flow. Afternoon sea-breeze convection and scattered showers typically cap peak readings near this level, preventing excursions into the mid-90s or higher despite elevated heat indices above 100°F. The 100% market-implied probability on the 90–91°F bin reflects this verified measurement from the resolution station, with only extreme instrument or reporting discrepancies able to alter the outcome.
