Morgan Stanley’s commanding 82.5% implied probability reflects recent reporting that positions the firm for the lead-left role on Anthropic’s anticipated IPO, including its leadership of a $15 billion revolving credit facility whose largest commitments were explicitly tied to underwriting hierarchy. Goldman Sachs, at 13.6%, is widely expected to serve as stabilization agent, while JPMorgan and Citigroup round out the top tier after participating in the same syndicated loan. These allocations mirror precedents such as the SpaceX deal and follow June 2026 announcements naming Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs as co-leads alongside JPMorgan. A public S-1 filing, now targeted for late September with a mid-October listing, will confirm the final bookrunner order on the prospectus cover and resolve the market.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
