Anthropic’s rapid revenue expansion—from a $47 billion annualized run rate in May 2026 to $65 billion by July—combined with 2028 projections of $190–200 billion underpins trader expectations for an IPO closing market cap clustered between $1.75 trillion and $2.5 trillion. Recent reports indicate a late-September public S-1 filing and mid-October roadshow, positioning the company for a potential listing near $2 trillion, above SpaceX’s $1.77 trillion benchmark, with a $15 billion credit facility and underwriters including Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan preparing the launch. Private-market levels near $1.31 trillion as of early September reflect ongoing momentum, while the tight distribution across mid-range bins highlights uncertainty around execution of growth targets and public-market reception for frontier AI valuations ahead of the offering.

Market capitalization expresses the monetary value of a company’s outstanding shares, stated in its pricing currency. It is calculated as the number of shares outstanding multiplied by the closing share price on the first trading day.
If the relevant value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket.
Resolution will be based on the primary exchange’s official listing page. In the event that the relevant figure is not displayed, another reliable source will be used.
In the event of an interruption in the course of the normal trading session on Anthropic’s first day of trading (e.g., a circuit breaker or half-day), the market will resolve according to the official closing price of the abbreviated session. If no such official closing price is published, the market will resolve according to the next trading day on which an official closing price is published, treating that as the first day of trading for purposes of this market.
