Recent official forecasts from multiple models indicate a high of 18–19°C in Munich on September 23 under clear to mostly sunny skies, light easterly winds, and stable high pressure, aligning with the market’s heavy weighting toward these outcomes. This setup favors strong daytime heating without significant cloud cover or frontal activity to suppress temperatures, consistent with early-autumn climatology where average highs near 18.8°C. Model consensus shows minimal spread, though minor variations in afternoon mixing or urban heat effects could shift the exact maximum by 1°C. Updated guidance as of September 22 reinforces this narrow range, with low precipitation risk supporting trader confidence in the leading probabilities.
