Official National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on September 16 project a daily high near 89–90°F amid northeast winds of 10–15 mph and high humidity, with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms developing after 2pm that could briefly suppress readings. Model runs and local observations show afternoon peaks clustering in the upper 80s to low 90s depending on cloud cover and storm timing, while heat indices exceed 100°F. The closely matched 88–89°F and 90–91°F market bands reflect this narrow uncertainty range, with convection and steering flow as the key variables that could shift the verified maximum by 1–2°F either way before resolution.
