Incumbent George Harvie of Achieving For Delta holds a modest edge in the October 17, 2026, Delta mayoral contest, supported by his established slate and record of municipal leadership. A council split earlier in the term led four former allies to form the opposing One Delta slate behind Dylan Kruger, who emphasizes affordability measures such as no new taxes or fees alongside infrastructure and accountability priorities. Melissa Granum of Delta First has released a platform focused on public safety, health-care access, and transparent growth planning. With nominations closing September 11 and the official campaign period beginning September 19, the contest remains closely contested as voters weigh incumbency advantages against calls for renewed collaboration at city hall and reforms to regional governance.
