Recent Starship test flights, including Flight 13's successful V3 Starlink deployment and soft upper-stage splashdown with an intact heat shield in July 2026, have reinforced trader confidence in rapid progress toward full reusability. Booster tower catches demonstrated in multiple 2026 missions, combined with Elon Musk's August projection of an upper-stage reflight by early 2027, indicate the company is iterating quickly on Raptor relights, heat shield performance, and recovery hardware. Upcoming Flight 14 orbital attempts and planned propellant transfer tests in the coming months represent key catalysts that could validate both stages' reuse cycles well before 2028, though challenges in achieving rapid turnaround and orbital refueling remain.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if SpaceX or Elon Musk announces that Starship is fully reusable by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
Note, this market refers to the Starship upper stage and does not require reusability for the Super-Heavy booster.
For this market to resolve to "Yes" it is not necessary that an actual reuse occur, only that SpaceX or Elon Musk announces that Starship is fully reusable by this market's resolution date.
The resolution source for this market is announcements by Elon Musk and SpaceX, or their official representatives.
