Sassuolo leads the runner-up market at 44% implied probability due to their solid early 2026-27 Serie A form, including competitive results against sides like Bologna and Torino, combined with a balanced squad featuring attackers such as Berardi and Laurienté under manager Aquilani. Traders appear to price in the Neroverdi’s home strength at the Mapei Stadium and recent recruitment as factors supporting a sustained top-two challenge over the full campaign. The cluster of established clubs including Inter Milan, Juventus, Atalanta, AC Milan, Napoli, and Roma at 25.5% each reflects their historical depth, European experience, and roster quality, though the even distribution highlights the season’s length and potential for mid-table surprises to disrupt traditional hierarchies. Early standings leaders like Lazio and Roma add context but have not shifted consensus away from Sassuolo’s positioning.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Serie A for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Serie A (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Serie A; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
