**Édouard Philippe maintains a commanding lead in trader pricing for the 2027 French presidential election outcome between the two centrist figures, reflecting consistent polling advantages and campaign momentum.** Recent surveys place Philippe ahead of Gabriel Attal in first-round intentions within the center bloc, with Philippe typically polling 14-19% and Attal at 8-17% depending on whether both run; Philippe also shows stronger head-to-head positioning against Rassemblement National contenders in runoff scenarios. Philippe has accelerated visible activity, including a September 2026 climate adaptation platform emphasizing infrastructure and a €2 billion annual fund, alongside efforts to consolidate right-of-center support ahead of potential unity talks. Attal has focused on pro-European integration proposals and program development through working groups, yet trails in surveys and faces challenges consolidating the Macron-aligned electorate. The elevated “Both” share captures residual uncertainty over vote splitting or a unified center candidacy, while low “Neither” odds align with both candidates’ declared intentions.
