Recent National Weather Service observations indicate a minimum of 65°F in downtown Los Angeles on September 20, with Los Angeles International Airport reporting overnight lows near 64–66°F under mostly cloudy skies and light onshore flow. Persistent marine layer influence and modest cloud cover suppressed radiative cooling relative to clear-night norms, keeping temperatures close to the 1991–2020 average low of 63–64°F. Trader consensus remains split between the 64–65°F and 66–67°F bins because final official readings can vary slightly by station and rounding conventions, while model guidance issued the prior evening showed a narrow range of possible minima. No significant synoptic shift or marine intrusion occurred to push values notably lower or higher.
