The 2026 Quebec general election features a competitive contest in the urban Montreal riding of Saint-Henri–Sainte-Anne, where incumbent Québec solidaire MNA Guillaume Cliche-Rivard holds a narrow edge in trader pricing over Liberal challenger Benoit Clermont. Cliche-Rivard captured the seat in the 2023 by-election after decades of Liberal control, capitalizing on local priorities around housing access, homelessness services, and immigration policy. Clermont, a media producer and long-time resident, brings fresh Liberal organization to the race following the writ drop in late August. Anthony Lavoie of the Coalition Avenir Québec trails further back. Projections from multiple models treat the outcome as a near toss-up, with limited separation driven by incumbency visibility, ground-level campaigning, and voter turnout patterns in this left-leaning district. Upcoming candidate debates and any late shifts in provincial party momentum before October 5 could widen gaps.
