The Maynas, Peru mayoral race for the October 4, 2026 vote features a fragmented field led by Roger Cristóbal Gronerth Pinedo of Somos Perú, followed by Joel Ronal Parimango Álvarez of Alianza para el Progreso and Boris Guido Morey Sifuentes of Fuerza Popular. Recent August-September polling shows Gronerth ahead but with support in the mid-20s amid double-digit shares for several rivals, reflecting vote splitting across parties and limited consolidation. Trader consensus on Polymarket remains closely balanced because no candidate has established a commanding lead, local issues such as regional infrastructure and services dominate, and the short timeline leaves room for shifts from endorsements, debates, or turnout patterns in Loreto. Late polling or campaign developments could widen gaps before ballots close.
