This market will resolve according to the candidate who becomes the next mayor of Windsor, Ontario as a result of this election. Temporary, interim, or placeholder mayors appointed before the election will not be considered. If the result of this election isn't known by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting; however, if there is any ambiguity in the results, this market will resolve according to official information from Windsor, Ontario.Incumbent Drew Dilkens, seeking a fourth and final term in the October 26, 2026, Windsor mayoral election, holds the leading position in trader consensus due to his 12 years in office and established provincial connections on infrastructure priorities such as uploading the E.C. Row Expressway. His main challenger, Ward 1 Councillor Fred Francis, launched his platform in early September emphasizing affordability, ending strong mayor powers, and greater accountability, framing the contest as one between continuity and change.
