Matt Damon leads trader sentiment at 26.5% for his physically demanding turn as Odysseus in Christopher Nolan’s summer blockbuster The Odyssey, while John Malkovich trails closely at 20.9% on strong Venice buzz for Martin McDonagh’s Wild Horse Nine. Andrew Scott (19.0%) and Tom Cruise (17.0%) follow, with Cruise drawing support from Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s direction on Digger and the long-running “first Oscar” storyline. The wide-open field reflects multiple star-driven vehicles vying for guild and academy momentum ahead of fall festival reactions, precursor awards, and nominations voting in January 2027. Lower-priced contenders like Robert Pattinson and Sebastian Stan could surge on late critical or box-office momentum.
