Miroslava Ferancová holds the strongest position in the Olomouc mayoral market as the incumbent primátorka and ANO 2011 candidate, backed by her party's leading share in the 2025 parliamentary vote locally and her selection as list leader for the October 9-10, 2026 municipal elections. She assumed office in January 2026 after Miroslav Žbánek's resignation to focus on his parliamentary role, maintaining continuity on key municipal issues such as transport, sport, and urban development. Other contenders, including Jan Vašíř for ODS, Marek Zelenka for STAN, Pavel Jelínek for SPD, and candidates from KDU-ČSL and smaller lists, trail due to narrower party support and limited recent polling visibility. Trader consensus reflects the structural advantages of incumbency and coalition dynamics ahead of the vote.
