Seattle's September 20 maximum temperature market reflects tight trader consensus around 68–71°F amid stable late-summer conditions. National Weather Service and multiple forecast models indicate a typical marine-influenced pattern: morning patchy fog or low stratus under light northerly flow, followed by partial afternoon clearing with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. North winds of 5–10 mph and the moderating effect of the Pacific Ocean limit diurnal warming, consistent with the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 69.2°F. No strong high-pressure ridge or offshore flow is expected to push temperatures into the mid-70s, while model agreement keeps lower 60s outcomes unlikely. Resolution hinges on the official NWS Seattle-Tacoma International Airport daily maximum.
