Canva’s private valuation has compressed from the $42 billion mark set in its August 2025 employee share sale to secondary indications near $35 billion as of September 2026, reflecting investor markdowns by backers such as Blackbird and Airtree amid slower revenue growth. Annual recurring revenue reached roughly $4 billion in 2025 with paid users exceeding 31 million, yet the company lowered its expected growth rate to 20 percent after higher-than-anticipated costs for frontier AI models prompted a slower rollout of new features. Enterprise ARR doubled year-over-year to $500 million, supported by recent product updates and the September 2026 acquisition of MagicBrief to enhance AI-driven marketing analytics. IPO preparations continue with no S-1 filing to date, leaving secondary trading and any late-year data releases or further AI efficiency gains as key near-term influences on market-implied odds through year-end.
