Trader consensus on a 33°C high for Singapore on September 21 reflects official forecasts from the Meteorological Service Singapore and NEA, which project afternoon maxima of 33–34°C under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions with southeast winds and 60–95% humidity. Afternoon thundery showers are expected but typically fail to suppress peak readings in this equatorial climate, where historical September maxima average near 31–32°C yet frequently reach 33–34°C on most days. Recent model runs and station observations around 32–33°C reinforce the market-implied odds near 100%, though localized heavy rain or earlier cloud cover could cap the daily high at 32°C or allow brief spikes to 34°C before resolution based on official maximum readings.
