This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Governor of Nevada. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Governor of Nevada, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Trader consensus centers on 1.05M–1.125M total ballots as the most probable range for Nevada’s November 3, 2026, gubernatorial election, reflecting historical midterm participation adjusted for current registration trends.** With roughly 2.06 million active registered voters following extensive list maintenance that removed or inactivated hundreds of thousands of records since 2025, expected turnout of 50–55 percent aligns with the 2022 governor race total of about 1.02 million votes. Nonpartisan voters now form the largest bloc, early voting begins October 17, and a competitive contest between incumbent Republican Joe Lombardo and Democratic challenger Aaron Ford could modestly lift participation above the prior midterm baseline without reaching presidential-year levels near 1.49 million. Recent polling averages showing a modest Republican edge and ongoing voter-roll updates continue to anchor expectations in the low-to-mid 1.0–1.2 million range.
